This is the Altar Wedge Tomb on the Mizen Peninsula. It was erected around 3,000 to 2,000BC and its entrance is lined up with the distant Mizen Peak. During the 18th century, it was used by priests who were forbidden by law to say mass in church. (But we don't know why they were forbidden.)
