We arrived in Limerick later in the day and after settling into our hotel we wandered down a couple of blocks to the River Shannon to snap a couple of pictures as it started getting dark. Later we found an upscale Chinese restaurant and had a delicious meal. We walked around a little while and saw some fun photo possibilities, but we had left our camera at the hotel. Oh, well.

Watching the news later in our trip, we found out that Limerick is the "murder capital" of Europe. Who knew?
